Indeed we felt that our visitors should be matured, and we regret that some visitors are misbehaving and posting such comments. This site is in no way trying to belittle any other robotics team, and we are far from trying to show off about what we have done in the past or the future. Thi site was put up to give information, and promote our sponsors. Of course,since this is our site, we would also not condemn our team, but we shall never condemn other teams also.
As the an avid fan of robotics, and also a great supporter of the Robotics programme in schools, we feel that Guess, High Skul Robotic 1, and High Skul Robotic 2 has shamed all those involved in this educative programme by posting such hatred comments in this site.
We shall not take further action(apart from removing the chatbox), and sincerely hope that all three of you will grow up to learn that the robotics programme is more than just a competition, but it is also about educating, critical thinking, and so much more. As for MJROBOTICS and the NRC 2008, we never said we are going to take any silverware this year, as we have to admit that other teams are also well exposed and shall be gunning for the same prizes. Winning is always a bonus for us, and if we don’t win, our effort in making it to the NRC, and also learning about robotics is already as good as 1st prize because the experience of being in robotics is the real prize, and not the medals offered at the competition.
And just to note that we are interested to know what the three of you have produced/done for your robotics team, and we are more than delighted to know that you enjoyed and laughed at our simple video because at the very least, we know that it made you happy. We would also like to know your school as we could take up more initiatives to create more videos to cheer up your whole school during your hour of grief and sadness :D. On another hand, we do feel that only cowards dare not reveal their true identities, and hide behind nick names, and your comments do seem like you are a little/lot jealous of MJROBOTICS. Nonetheless, we do wish your team the very best in the NRC 2008.
