SK Sg Apong was announced the winner of the Primary School Regular category for the NRC 2008 Kuching/Samarahan Sub zone held in SMK Matang Jaya today.  They collected 385.5 points, beating their nearest rival by a small 1.5 points margin.  The team which consist of two girls and one boy, was given the code name A02, in which they managed to complete most of the track and move the recycle items within the given time frame, They were also lucky enough to avoid unnecessary penalties from the judges, and this proved vital to their success in this competition.

After months of waiting, the National Robotics Competition 2008 for the Kuching/Samarahan Sub Zone is finally here. MJROBOTICS was given the ultimate privilege to help in organising this year’s event, and also to help prepare the venue of the competition, which is also home of MJROBOTICS.
